These kind of days happen to all of us. You oversleep, burn your pancakes, your hair is a mess, you miss your bus and what usually happens to me as a cherry on the top, I bump into every piece of furniture possible. On days like these you can quickly get stressed and frustrated, but not to worry here are some things that can help:
1. LOG OUT OF SOCIAL MEDIA
The biggest mistake I usually make on days like this is to check Facebook and Instagram like crazy, and the only thing that comes out of it is me feeling even more frustrated. Of course looking at all the photos of your friends making it feel like they have the best life in the world will make you feel even worse. You have to remember that people put only the best of their lives on social media and that you too have those amazing moments in your life, just not today!
2. SING OUT LOUD
Singing out loud is the best therapy, at lest for me. There is nothing better than driving in a car and singing by the songs on radio. It doesn’t matter if you know the text or not, just let it out. But if you are having a crappy day there is also the high possibility that every single radio station will stream crappy songs. So maybe singing at home while being your own DJ is a better option.
3. TIDY YOUR ROOM
Clean space will leads to clear mind. If you room or work place is a mess take some time to tidy it a bit. You can even mix it up with a tip no.2 and sing it out white cleaning the room. Afterwards you will feel more productive and ready for new challenges that a crappy day will throw your way.
4 WALK IT OUT
This is the one I didn’t understand for a long time. I hate don’t like walking on my happiest days, so how the hell could a thing I generally don’t like so much help me on what seems to be the worst day ever. But it somehow helps, preferably if you do it it nature, with your favorite songs playing on your phone.
You can read all the tips in the world, but nothing will help like chocolate or wine ( or whatever treat you like). As much as food’s main purpose is to fuel your body it can be a very good treat too. So go and eat what makes you happy, and don’t you dare feel guilty after it!
So here are the tricks I use when I have a crappy day! Hope you have the smallest amount of crappy days possible, and if you do just remember it’s only 24 hours and it will pass soon! What are the things you like to do to survive a crappy day?
